I have heard of the Jefferson Bible, but this is the first time I've actually read it. What an amazing man. I have visited Monticello several times, and find something new every time I visit. It's interesting to speculate what the origins of our country might have been without his considerable influence. I have been studying Humanism, and am fascinated by Jefferson's philosophy.Product details

A Jefferson Bible for the TwentyFirst Century Luis Granados Roy Speckhardt Books Reviews
This little book looks like it will be very good, particularly with the additional content that has been included by the Humanist Press (which is evidently the publishing branch of the American Humanist Association). I must, however, immediately register my dissatisfaction with the quality of paper that the book is printed on. I'm an inveterate highlighter, and the paper is thin to the point that highlighting done in a typical manner bleeds through the paper to a high enough degree to cause a notable distraction to the reading of the following (back-side) page. I can't remember when the last time this has happened to me, and I do a lot of highlighting. Too bad that such an oversight (or intentional money-saving decision) detracts from what seems will be a valuable resource. Hopefully, if this book moves into a 3rd edition, the paper will be of better quality.
